Reverend Lyndel Williams

Lyndel Williams was born in Kingston Jamaica and dedicated his life to Christ at the early age of 15. Brother Williams was exposed to the Gospel by a group of missionaries traveling from the U.S. to Jamaica. After this life changing encounter, he enrolled in Bible School in the early 70s. Shortly after his studies, God brought him his greatest blessing, his wife, Kalawatie Williams.

Soon after, God called them to missionary work in Suriname. They worked in various areas of ministry, including youth ministries, social work, church work, teaching, and the training of others for ministry. They traveled extensively for mission work, reaching the shores of Ghana to South America. Brother Williams and Sister Williams have dedicated over 35 years of travelling in the missionary field.

In 2004, the Williams family was called to Calvary Assembly of God. Brother Williams teaches Bible study classes and delivers God’s Word.

He is committed to seeing churches grow and reaching cities and communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His many faithful friends and co -laborers are his source of encouragement. There is a great sense of responsibility that Brother Williams feels, a responsibility and burden to pray and support other missionaries. His prayer is that God will continue to provide and protect missionary families as they work diligently to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

With God’s grace, he will continue to remain faithful and focused on what the Lord has called him to do.
Brother & Sister Williams have two children, Esther and Kenny, and a beautiful granddaughter, Emily.
